SUMMER HOURS	11:00 a.m-3:00 p.m.	4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m
GATE HOURS	11:00 a.m-2:45 p.m	4:00 p.m –7:45 p.m

 

OCTOBER 1 – APRIL 30 TUESDAY  to  SATURDAY

 

 

WINTER HOURS	9:00 a.m-1:00 p.m	2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m
GATE HOURS	9:00 a.m- 12:45 p.m	2:00 p.m-5:45 p.m

 

 

Residents are reminded that in accordance with By-Law #2392 it is unlawful for anyone to frequent the Town of The Pas Dump for the purpose of salvaging, scavenging, picking over, scattering, searching or burning of material.

 

NOTES: 

 

1. The gate hours have been set to close fifteen minutes prior to the landfill site being closed for lunch and at the end of the day.  If the dump attendant feels that there is not sufficient time for the load to be separated and dropped off residents will be turned away.

 

1. In compliance with the Landfill Operating Permit the landfill site will be CLOSED during the periods 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. as noted above.

 

1. The Town of The Pas maintains a “Used Oil Depot” at the landfill site.  Used oil, oil containers and filters can be disposed of year round.  Please see the Attendant for instructions.

 

1.  Dog excrement is NOT be placed with regular household garbage.  You must dispose of dog excrement yourself at the landfill site.

 

1. Ashes must also be delivered to the landfill site.  The landfill attendant will direct you to the “BURN AREA”. Ashes must be stored in a non-combustible container clearly marked “ASHES”.

 

Any person who contravenes this By-Law may be fined as per Section 17 (a).
